Music fans won't want to miss San Jose's Music in the Park Summer Concert Series, a collection of three outdoor concerts that take place downtown at Plaza de Cesar Chavez Park. All the shows start at 5:30 pm, and you can purchase tickets in advance online. Check out the lineup, and make plans to attend Music in the Park.

  • Thursday, July 14 – AC/DShe (AC/DC tribute band), The Killer Queens (Queen tribute band), and School of Rock's house band The Drought.
  • Thursday, August 4 – Grammy Award-winning Ozomatli (multi-genre band fusing Latin, hip hop, salsa, rock, funk, jazz and reggae), and Sonido Clash (traditional and modern Latin sounds).
  • Thursday, August 25 – Tower of Power (funk and soul band with five-piece horn section) and Super Soul Bros. (local funk and jazz band that plays melodies from classic video games, anime, TV and movie soundtracks).
